Summer Art Camp for Immersion/Spanish-speaking for students entering 1st-4th Grade
What?
- Four days of a two-hour Spanish immersion ART class
- Classes are conducted completely in Spanish and designed for current immersion students or children fluent in Spanish
- Culture, legends, science, food and art of the Aztecs plus games and songs
With whom?
- Teacher, Amanda Cisneros (acisneros@edconnect.us)
- Has taught all levels of Spanish for 20 years, including elementary school
- Current K-12 Spanish teaching certification with the state of Michigan
- Owner of EdConnect Language Academy
- Mom of a 3rd grade Spanish immersion student at GRCS 😊
- Local Mexican-American Artist, Arturo Morales
- Has taught art to children in school and community art programs in GR
- Known for his murals, Aztec-inspired art, and portraits (ArtPrize and Mexo)
- Loves sharing his passion for art with kids!
