Book Club for Spanish Immersion (entering 7th-9th grades) – Students will read the popular young adult novel Furia. Written by an Argentinian author, this engaging novel centers around Camila, a teenage soccer star whose parents don’t approve of her passion. Profe Rachel makes this book even more engaging with fun activities and discussions focused on vocabulary, grammar, and of course, the twists and turns of the story. Students are expected to read about 50-80 pages per week (about 20 minutes a day).
